Flood Returns to Seabrook House to Take New Position
Seabrook House has created a new leadership position of vice president of treatment services and is welcoming back longtime addiction treatment executive Rebecca Flood to fill the role.
Flood, who originally joined the New Jersey-based treatment organization in 1978 and worked there for 26 years, recently left her position as CEO of Ashley Addiction Treatment in Maryland. A statement from Seabrook House says Flood will head the organization's quality improvement initiatives in residential and outpatient treatment.
In her past work at Seabrook, Flood oversaw residential and outpatient programs and the planning of specialized programming for women, adolescents and patients with co-occurring disorders. She left Seabrook to become CEO of New Directions for Women in California.
Flood has been a longtime Addiction Professional blogger on women's treatment and related topics. She also has served on the board of directors at the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) and was a co-founder of the Women's CEO Global Alliance.
