MAT Pharmacy Program Expands to Arizona

Cordant Health Solutions recently announced that it has expanded its addiction pharmacy program into Arizona with the opening of a pharmacy in Mesa.

Cordant pharmacies work with clinicians in office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) programs who use buprenorphine for medication-assisted treatment, delivering medications patients during their clinic visits, a model that improves medication adherence for patients in treatment, Cordant president and CEO Sue Sommer said in a news release.

With the opening of the Mesa facility, Cordant’s MAT pharmacy program now operates in eight states, serving about 5,800 patients through in-office programs and home delivery.
