Advanced Recovery Systems adolescent center to open next week
Advanced Recovery Systems has announced that next week it will begin operation of a continuum of addiction and co-occurring disorders services for youths ages 13 to 17 in Sebring, Fla. Next Generation Village will begin treating patients on Aug. 24.
Next Generation Village will offer detox, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Carlos Garcia-Prieto, MD, will serve as medical director. On-site academic services also will be available to the young patients at the facility.
Advanced Recovery Systems operates treatment programs in Florida, Colorado and Washington. Its Florida programs include The Recovery Village, which opened two years ago with the aim of devoting equal attention to substance use, mental illness and eating disorders in its service array.
