Burki Leaves Life of Purpose, Joins Hanley Foundation
The founder of Life of Purpose Treatment has left the organization to join Hanley Foundation as chief public policy officer. Andrew Burki's duties at Hanley will include ensuring that the treatment organization is represented in the national dialogue around recovery support services for youths, according to a news release from Hanley.
Burki's involvement in the treatment and recovery field nationally includes serving as a board member for Young People in Recovery and having served on advisory panels for federal agencies and on a sober homes task force in Florida.
Life of Purpose broke new ground in the field as an academically focused continuum of care, establishing services directly on a college campus in South Florida and also establishing programming in South Florida.
