Castlewood names new clinical director in California
A Castlewood Treatment Center for Eating Disorders clinician with a specialization in dance/movement therapy has been promoted to clinical director of the St. Louis-based organization's treatment facility in Monterey, Calif.
Jennifer Edwards, LPC, most recently served as primary therapist and director of the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs at Castlewood Treatment Center in St. Louis. At the Castlewood at Monarch Cove treatment center in California, Edwards will be responsible for clinical supervision of the treatment teams.
Edwards joined Castlewood in 2008 in the dance/movement therapy program, having been trained in dance and in sensorimotor psychotherapy. She said in a news release that announced her new appointment, “I'm particularly passionate about helping clients become comfortable with reconnecting to their body and am thrilled to be at a place where clients can feel safe, get individualized treatment and discover a life in recovery.”
