Castlewood Treatment Center announces new clinical director for Monterey facility
Castlewood Treatment Center for Eating Disorders, has announced that Kristine Jackson, LCSW will serve as the new Clinical Director of Monarch Cove Treatment Center for Eating Disorders. Monarch Cove is a Castlewood affiliate located in Monterey, California. The facility offers residential, partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program to men and women ages 16 and over.
“After a long and extensive search for the candidate who would best serve the needs of our clients, I am extremely happy to welcome Kristine to our team,” shared Nancy Albus, Castlewood CEO. “Kristine brings with her a vast amount of experience and knowledge in both eating disorders and chemical dependency that spans over 15 years. Along with her experience, she brings care and compassion in her approach and a commitment to our healing mission.”
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in theater arts and a master’s in social work. She is a licensed clinical social worker with certifications in several modalities including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), and Motivational Interviewing. She was awarded LPS designation and received certification for co-occurring disorders from the University of California Los Angeles. Prior to becoming Clinical Director at Monarch Cove, Jackson served as the Clinical Director of Sober Living by the Sea and The Victorian.
