Former AdCare staffer returns to oversee business development

The official who is taking over for longtime AdCare Hospital vice president of marketing and business development James McKenna formerly worked as a community service representative at the Worcester, Mass.-based addiction treatment organization. Lisa A. Clark, RN, MSN, will oversee marketing, development and community services for AdCare inpatient, residential and outpatient services in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Clark is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and a Massachusetts and New York state credentialed addiction counselor who served as the Metro Area Wellness Chairperson for the New York Federation of Addiction Counselors and was a board member at the Massachusetts Organization of Addiction Recovery. Prior to returning to AdCare to take over the role of the retiring McKenna, Clark worked in management positions in state government relations and in the treatment and pharmaceutical industries, with the latter including roles at Cephalon and Alkermes and with Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals.

Among her roles in medication-assisted treatment efforts, Clark has been involved in buprenorphine safety programming for addiction treatment centers.
