Foundations site takes diverse approaches for dually diagnosed
A new Foundations Recovery Network outpatient treatment facility site in San Diego will feature community-based yoga classes in the evenings and free aftercare groups for life for outpatient program attendees.
Nashville, Tenn.-based Foundations on March 13 announced the opening of the facility in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. It will take a stages-of-change approach in its clinical services, employing modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. It will target individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
Foundations San Diego, which will offer partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care, also will have specialty groups to serve populations such as recovering professionals and the LGBT community.
