Futures of Palm Beach announces new director of marketing

Futures of Palm Beach (Tequesta, Fla.), a residential treatment facility which treats clients with a primary diagnosis of substance abuse and/or eating disorders, has announced the addition of Susan Roy as their new director of marketing.

"Susan is a tremendous asset to our facility for many important reasons," stated Dr. Tim Worden, Ph.D., executive director of Futures. "Susan's marketing experience, web development expertise, and industry relationships give us multiple opportunities to promote our revolutionary treatment programs and world-class facility both locally and nationally to those in need of treatment. We are tremendously excited to have Susan as part of the team at Futures, and we look forward to the exciting ideas and strategies she will begin implementing."

Prior to joining Futures, Roy was the public relations director for The Treatment Center of The Palm Beaches, where she was responsible for developing public relations strategy, administration of charitable giving programs, search engine optimization, website development and the strategic use of social media.

Previously in her career, Roy gained business development experience as a consultant to numerous law firms and a variety of other industries. As the former director of a not-for-profit crisis center, Roy developed a passion for serving the needs of those with addictions, eating disorders and trauma. Today, Roy serves as the chairman of the Palm Beach County Substance Awareness Coalition's Prescription Drug Task Force and is active as an author and speaker on the subjects of addictions, options in treatment and domestic violence.

"To be part of a new and innovative treatment program like Futures of Palm Beach is a once in a lifetime opportunity," stated Roy. "The staff and management of Futures have designed a world-class facility that is matched perfectly with the superior treatment programs created by Dr. Worden. I'm looking forward to strategically expanding and strengthening the Futures brand both locally and nationally through various channels, while also building a seasoned admissions team of experienced and caring professionals. I personally feel like I was destined to be in this role and provide access to the amazing treatment programs found at Futures to the numerous people in need of treatment and therapy across the country."
