Hazelden Betty Ford campus rocks for recovery
Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is tapping into the vibe of the summer music festival season and celebrating recovery with the second annual HazelFest, to be held at its Center City, Minn., campus Aug. 2.
The nine-hour “Recovery Rocks” event will feature a quartet of well-known Midwest bands, along with recovery speakers, exhibitors, 12-Step meetings, food trucks, and family activities.
The four headlining bands are Davina and the Vagabonds, Communist Daughter, Trapper Schoepp and the Shades, and The Jayhawks. Several leaders in these bands have gone public with personal stories of addiction and recovery.
Advance tickets at $20 are available until July 24; tickets will cost $30 on the day of the event.
