Hazelden graduate school announces online master`s program
The Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies is now offering an online master's degree program in addiction studies with three residency experiences, achievable in two years under full-time attendance.
The Master of Arts in Addiction Studies: Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders curriculum includes course work in differential diagnosis, trauma-informed treatment, medical issues, psychopharmacology, and recovery management. It is designed to promote use of evidence-based practices to facilitate integrated recovery for individuals with co-occurring addictions and mental illness.
The online program has three start dates at different points in the year, and can be designed to meet various counselor credentialing requirements that differ among states. Part-time attendance options for the master's program are available to students.
