Hazelden names new executive director of Naples location
Brenda Iliff, M.A., has been named executive director of Hazelden in Naples, Fla., a location of the national nonprofit organization that strives to help people recover from addiction. Iliff has more than 20 years experience in the addiction field, as both a clinician and health care executive. Prior to that, she worked in nursing home management. As executive director, Iliff will oversee all operations and programs of Hazelden in Naples.
"Brenda is very passionate about Hazelden's mission of offering hope for lifelong recovery from addiction and deeply compassionate to the patients she serves," said Mark Mishek, Hazelden's president and chief executive officer. "She has the credentials, vision and depth of experience necessary to lead Hazelden in Naples, and we are fortunate to have her on board again."
Iliff first joined Hazelden in 1994 and served in many different roles, including as executive director of Fellowship Club (St. Paul, Minn.) and clinical director of Hazelden's Women's Recovery Center (Center City, Minn.). For the past two years, she served as the clinical director at a treatment facility in Dallas, Texas.
"I am grateful to be able to return to Hazelden and serve in Naples," said Iliff. "The Naples community is the ideal place to provide an innovative community model of treatment to allow clients to practice real life recovery while doing treatment. Hazelden brings so many resources to restore hope, healing, and health to people affected by addiction."
