Lahey Health hires former state agency director

A former director of the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Abuse Services has been hired as vice president of addiction treatment services at Lahey Health Behavioral Services. Hilary Jacobs, LICSW, LADC, will oversee all of Massachusetts-based Lahey Health's substance use treatment programs, from detox through outpatient levels.
Jacobs has served as a policy adviser for the state substance abuse agency since last September, and prior to that had directed the Bureau from August 2012 to July 2014.
Among her roles prior to joining state government, Jacobs was director of addiction treatment services at North Charles Institute for the Addictions.
