Maroney hired as CEO of RCA facility in Massachusetts
A substance use treatment administrator who has worked in central Massachusetts has been hired to serve as CEO of Recovery Centers of America's (RCA's) 90-bed treatment facility serving the region. Jack Maroney will run the RCA at Westminster center, scheduled to open Aug. 15.
Maroney is a former vice president of outpatient operations at Worcester-based AdCare Hospital, and co-authored The East Side of Addiction, a historical look at drug use in an inner-city neighborhood. Maroney also founded Spring Hill Recovery Center.
RCA at Westminster is one of two planned treatment facilities in Massachusetts for the privately financed treatment organization, and is scheduled to be the third facility overall to start operations in the chain of Northeast and Middle Atlantic treatment centers.
