Mobile app assists patients receiving Suboxone film

Pharmaceutical company Indivior has introduced a free mobile app to assist in the management of patients receiving Suboxone film for opioid addiction, with versions for both patients and health professionals.
The Suboxone Sublingual Film Mobile Health Library was developed by the Richmond, Va.-based company with input from patients and prescribers, and includes features such as dosing reminders and tracking capability for cravings and other symptoms.
Features for physicians include information on access and risk evaluation and mitigation strategies. The Mobile Health Library is available as a free download for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices.
