Outpatient Center Chain Hires New Chief Clinical Officer

Tracey Cohen, MD, who has served as a part-time physician at CleanSlate Outpatient Addiction Medicine, has been named chief clinical officer of the chain of centers that specialize in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid and alcohol addiction.

Cohen will continue with direct patient care in her new role, the company announced last week. Other roles she has had in the behavioral health industry include serving as medical director of the Medicaid health plan Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island and as medical director of behavioral health and quality at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

CleanSlate was founded in 2009 and now operates 56 outpatient addiction medicine clinics in 10 states, offering approved medication treatments for opioid use disorders and alcohol dependence.
