The Oxford Centre hires new executive director
Duke Vinson, LPC, NCC, former director of business development at Talbott Recovery Campus in Atlanta, is now executive director of The Oxford Centre in Etta, Miss., a residential facility located between Oxford and New Albany.
According to an Oct. 16 news release from The Oxford Centre, Vinson has initiated a new treatment track at the facility in order to address the needs of patients affected by trauma. His background includes a focus on co-occurring mental health issues as an international certified co-occurring disorders professional diplomate. Vinson is currently pursuing a doctorate in behavioral health from Arizona State University.
Operators of the 52-bed residential center are diversifying its clinical program to provide more tailored services to populations such as trauma victims and young adults.
