Seabrook House creates new position
Seabrook House has announced Loretta Mooney , MSW, to the newly created position of Director of Clinical Services. Mooney joined Seabrook House as the Director of Quality Assurance in September of 2012, and was appointed to oversee Clinical Services in December.
Mooney arrived at Seabrook with over 16 years in the human services field obtaining clinical experience, administrative expertise and compliance and credentialing readiness. According to Mooney, as the Director of Clinical Services she will oversee the clinical, administrative and supervision of the patients at Seabrook House while she works closely with the Director of Medical Services, Stephanie Loebs R.N., B.S.N., who will focus on all the medical aspects of patient treatment, including psychiatric care, and nursing.
"Because I have been a therapist and an administrator, I can understand the needs of both sides," said Mooney. "It's important that everyone continues to work together to deliver quality treatment services. I hope that in my new role as Director of Clinical Services, I can represent both points of view and ensure that patient care remains the top priority when making decisions."
Mooney noted that she also hopes to expand on the treatment Seabrook House already provides to include mental health services because so many addicts also suffer from some form of mental illness.
