Westport House establishes companion IOP
Westport House in Connecticut has announced the opening of an outpatient addiction and mental health treatment program to supplement its sober living services for young men. The new Clearpoint Treatment Center, located within walking distance of the organization's recovery homes in Westport, will offer assessment services, clinical and family groups, and administration of injectable naltrexone, among other services.
“We now have the ability to offer a higher level of integrated clinical services to the young men transitioning to Westport House from primary treatment programs,” Westport House founder and executive director Al Samaras said in a Nov. 15 news release.
Much of the service in the 5,000-square-foot facility will center around therapeutic groups that will help patients “foster effective communication, sober social skills, mastering change, regulating emotions, managing stress, [and] self-care with sleep/nutrition/fitness,” according to the statement.
