AToN Center hires new chief medical consultant

Encinitas, Calif.-based residential treatment program AToN Center has hired Christian Small, MD, as its new chief medical consultant. Small is board-certified in both psychiatry and family medicine and treats depression, anxiety and other disorders that co-occur with addiction.
Small received his medical training at the University of California San Diego, where he serves as an assistant clinical professor of health sciences.
AtoN Center offers a 30-day residential program with a foundation in cognitive-behavioral therapy and 12-Step and SMART Recovery support options for patients.
