Betty Ford Center announces details for San Diego site

The Betty Ford Center announced this week that its new outpatient facility in San Diego will serve as an in-network provider of substance use treatment services in the Scripps Health network. Brian Couey, who currently works at Betty Ford's West Los Angeles treatment site, will run the San Diego operation as director of outpatient services.

Couey's prior roles in the addiction field include program manager at Valley Women's Center and clinical coordinator at the Inter-Agency Drug Abuse Recovery Programs.

The San Diego center will be Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's 17th treatment site and will offer a continuum of substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment services, including a program for adolescents and young adults.
