Fairbanks expands ability to serve dually diagnosed

Jennifer Bell, DO, has joined the medical staff at Fairbanks in Indianapolis, in a move that leaders of the addiction treatment center say will enhance the center's ability to serve patients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
Bell had served as a contract physician for Fairbanks since 2014. A board-certified psychiatrist, she has worked in addiction and mental health services at organizations that include IU Bloomington Hospital and Larue Carter Hospital.
In addition to her work to improve services for the dually diagnosed at Fairbanks, Bell will supervise psychiatry residents during three-month addictions rotations at the treatment center.
