Geisinger Marworth promotes longtime clinical leader

Dominic Vangarelli, a longtime counseling leader at Geisinger Marworth Treatment Center in Waverly, Pa., has been named vice president of the facility.
Vangarelli was hired at the organization as a counselor in 1994, and also has served as counseling coordinator and most recently as director of counseling. He has been involved in helping to implement numerous initiatives at the inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment center, including the introduction of a partial hospitalization program and expressive arts therapies.
Prior to being hired at Geisinger Marworth, Vangarelli had worked as a residential and outpatient therapist at Perception Programs in Willimantic, Conn.
