Phoenix Multisport will establish chapter at Massachusetts facility
Recovery Centers of America (RCA) has announced that it will begin offering expanded wellness services at its Danvers, Mass., treatment facility through a partnership with fitness-oriented organization Phoenix Multisport.
Under the arrangement announced last week, Phoenix Multisport will house a full-time manager, a fitness instructor and a yoga teacher at RCA's Boston Center for Addiction Treatment. RCA will sponsor a chapter of Phoenix Multisport at the center, and Phoenix Multisport plans to offer a free daily community event to anyone over the age of 16 who has at least 48 hours of continuous sobriety.
Phoenix Multisport will offer group fitness classes, group personal training, yoga classes and open gym time for RCA patients in Danvers. “We echo the Phoenix Multisport approach to recovery, which stresses the importance of community involvement and support, in our core treatment model,” Boston Center CEO Brad Greenstein said in a news release.
