Serenity at Summit hires new clinical director

Summit Behavioral Health has announced that Susan P. Grady, LICSW, has been named director of clinical services at its Serenity at Summit detox and residential facility in Haverhill, Mass. Grady is the former director of ambulatory services at human-services agency NFI Massachusetts, Inc., where she managed programs ranging from medication management to driver alcohol education.

New Jersey-based Summit Behavioral Health opened Serenity at Summit in Massachusetts last November, with the program emphasizing a combination of pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic approaches.

CEO James R. Kane said in a news release announcing the appointment, “Summit Behavioral Health's programs are based on the fundamental belief that no single treatment philosophy or approach is best for everyone. I am confident that Susan can instill this in the team and help carry out our mission.”
