Sierra Tucson medical director receives promotion

The chief medical officer at Sierra Tucson has been named chief medical adviser of the recovery division at parent company Acadia Healthcare, the company announced this week. Michael Genovese, MD, JD, had served as Sierra Tucson's chief medical officer since October 2014.
The Sierra Tucson announcement stated that Genovese's priorities as chief medical officer included developing Sierra Tucson's medical team and enhancing resident safety.
Genovese formerly co-founded Long Island Mind & Body, a New York medical practice focusing on integrative treatments.
