Hodgkin Lymphoma with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura - A Case Report

Introduction:
Usually, Thrombocytopenic purpura is seen late in the course of Hodgkin‚Äôs disease and usually results from bone marrow failure. This may occur as a sequel to vigorous radiation therapy or chemotherapy, or as a manifestation of extensive bone marrow replacement by lymphoma. Rarely it can also present as a paraneoplastic syndrome, with an estimated prevalence of 0.2‚Äì1% among patients with HD. Here we present a case of Hodgkins Lymphoma with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura as a paraneoplastic event.
