The New Virtual Meeting Experience: What to See at IAS

Each year, the Interdisciplinary Autoimmune Summit (IAS) brings together providers from various specialties, such as dermatology, gastroenterology, and rheumatology, to discuss and learn about the latest in the treatment and management of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs). While the current coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of many live events, this year’s virtual meeting will still connect health care practitioners across various fields and offer attendees up to 22.5 CME/CNE/CPE credits.

“Although the meeting may be virtual, the information, updates, guidances and pathways, along with interactive discussions with faculty, will be real-life, timely, and integrated between our immune-mediated disease colleagues,” said Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, FACG, senior advisor of IAS and medical director of the Digestive Health Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL.

From July 10 through July 12, 2020, attendees can watch live sessions, engage with faculty in live Q&As, and view additional on-demand sessions from the comfort of their own home. All live sessions will also be available on-demand within 24 hours of the live presentation. In addition, attendees can participate in “Interact at IAS” for a chance to win prizes by engaging with sponsors and exhibitors in the virtual exhibit hall. Registered attendees will receive a link with information on how to access the meeting materials. For questions, please contact registration.

Live sessions at the meeting will include:

More information is available at the IAS meeting website.
