Behavioral Health Group Moves Into Rhode Island with Acquisition
Behavioral Health Group, a multi-state operator of outpatient opioid treatment and recovery programs, announced that it has expanded into Rhode Island with the acquisition of Center for Treatment & Recovery in Pawtucket. The facility, which employs 23 clinicians, mental health professionals and staff, will be renamed BHG Pawtucket Treatment Center as part of the deal.
BHG uses medication-assisted treatment in individualized, physician-supervised outpatient treatment programs that also incorporate behavioral health counseling and other support services. In a news release announcing the deal, CTR co-founder Wendy Looker cited “a strong clinical alignment philosophically” with BHG in making the deal.
With this acquisition, the BHG portfolio now includes 71 locations in 15 states, with 1,200 employees serving more than 22,000 patients.
