Community Psychiatry Acquires MindPath Care Centers

Outpatient behavioral health provider Community Psychiatry on Tuesday announced that it has acquired MindPath Care Centers. The move will increase Community Psychiatry’s number of locations to more than 70 across California and the Southeast.

“We could not have asked for a stronger, more complementary partner than MindPath Care Centers to further our shared mission of expanding patient access to top notch mental health care and seamlessly integrating with primary care from coast to coast,” Community Psychiatry CEO Christopher Brengard said in a release announcing the deal. “We believe mental health is key to the overall health and well-being of every individual.”

Community Psychiatry clinicians form working relationships with primary care physicians to coordinate patient care, offering psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychological testing and transcranial magnetic stimulation services. Community Psychiatry provides both in-person and telehealth-based care.

MindPath Care Centers offers psychiatric and psychological care to adults and children. Its services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling, family therapy, relationship/marital counseling, group therapy, addiction treatment, TMS and esketamine-assisted therapy. Its CEO, Jeff Williams, will serve as chief strategy officer in the newly combined organization.
