Community Psychiatry Adds 3 to Leadership Team

Outpatient behavioral health services provider Community Psychiatry recently announced three additions to its executive leadership team: Julie McCarter as chief operating officer, Ernie Varvoutis as chief growth officer, and Mark Brandow as chief financial officer. All three will report to recently appointed CEO J. Christopher Brengard.

McCarter, a 25-year healthcare industry veteran, previously held senior-level positions with Cigna and Great-West Healthcare. She has led strategic operations, product development, network development and provider relations.

Varvoutis, who has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years, most recently served as a senior-level executive at TeamHealth Inc. At Community Psychiatry, he will lead growth initiatives and partner strategy, focusing on increasing access to care.

Brandow, who has more than 20 years of experience, was previously the chief financial officer for Cigna’s commercial healthcare segment.
