Crossroads Changes Name of OBOT Clinics

Crossroads Treatment Centers has announced that it is consolidating its brands under one name as part of the company’s growth strategy.

Its office-based opioid treatment centers, which previously did business as ARS Treatment Centers, will now take on the Crossroads Treatment Centers name as well. All of the more than 30 opioid treatment programs and 60-plus OBOT clinics in the Crossroads portfolio will continue to provide treatment in 10 states.

“We are the same physician-owned and physician-led opioid treatment centers our patients know and trust,” Crossroads CEO Rupert McCormac, MD, said in a news release. “Our treatment model remains the same—to provide the most accessible high-quality treatment options to help combat the opioid epidemic and help those who need it on the road to recovery.”

Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Crossroads treats more than 22,000 patients per month at its facilities. The company said in the release announcing the name change for its ARS properties that it plans to open an additional 22 treatment centers by the end of the year.
