JourneyPure Announces Appointments of New CEO, CFO
JourneyPure, a substance use disorder and mental health treatment provider with 18 residential and outpatient locations in the Southeast, on Tuesday announced that it has elevated Cecelia Hunt, LCSW, to the role of CEO. She succeeds founder Kevin Lee, who will remain on the organization’s board of directors.
A 29-year industry veteran, Hunt joined JourneyPure last year as its chief operating officer. Previously, she served as COO of Perimeter Healthcare and WoodRidge Behavioral Health.
JourneyPure also announced the appointment of Wes Cannon as its new chief financial officer. Cannon most recently served as a vice president for CleanSlate Centers, and his previous work experience includes stints with healthcare and investment firms, as well as the consulting services firm Ernst & Young.
