Monte Nido Announces Plans for Atlanta, Deal for Arizona Facility

Weeks after opening a new program in its home state, Monte Nido, the California-based operator of eating disorder treatment facilities, has announced plans for two new programs in Atlanta and the acquisition of a facility in Arizona.

Monte Nido Atlanta and Clementine Atlanta, programs that will serve adults and adolescents, respectively, are the organization’s first facilities in Georgia. Monte Nido Atlanta will treat adults of all genders with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and/or exercise dependency, as well as co-occurring trauma and psychiatric disorders. Clementine, which will serve adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17, will treat the same disorders and offer academic and family support. It is the company’s first adolescent program to treat all genders.

In Arizona, Monte Nido has completed an acquisition for Rosewood Center for Eating Disorders, the company’s first property in the Southwest. Rosewood adds two components to Monte Nido’s existing offerings: inpatient care and treatment for diabulimia. Rosewood treats adolescent and adult populations.

With the acquisition of Rosewood, Monte Nido now operates 29 eating disorder programs in 11 states.
