Netcare Access Announces Plans for New CEO

Netcare Access this week announced that Brian Stroh, MD, will become the organization’s next CEO and medical director, effective May 1. Stroh will succeed the retiring King Stumpp, who has served as president and CEO for 10 years and is winding down a career spanning more than 30 years in behavioral healthcare.

Netcare Access is a mental health and substance use treatment facility based in Columbus, Ohio. The organization offers crisis intervention, assessment and residential services, along with outpatient referrals and other community-based services. Netcare is also in contract to provide probate/forensic services for 13 county court systems in Central Ohio.

Stroh has spent 15 years with Netcare, including the past 13 as its assistant medical director. In that role, he oversaw direct patient care and conducted administrative duties in the organization’s evaluation and treatment programs.

In its news release announcing Stroh’s promotion, Netcare also said he will continue Netcare’s partnership with the Franklin County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board as plans for a new county crisis center progress.
