RCA Launches Treatment Program in Illinois
Recovery Centers of America announced it has received approval for licensure from the Illinois Department of Human Services for its new alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility in St. Charles, Illinois, and the program has begun accepting patients.
The facility, located on a former school site about 40 miles west of Chicago, is licensed for detox services and residential care with a 120-bed capacity. The program is led by CEO Karen Wolownik Albert, LCSW, a 20-year industry veteran. Wolownik has worked in a variety of outpatient and residential settings, and is a member of the Lake County (Illinois) Opioid Initiative board of directors. Stephen Holtsford, MD, a physician at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois, will serve as RCA St. Charles’ medical director.
