Sierra Tucson Group Announces Executive Appointments

Acadia Healthcare on Thursday announced a pair of executive moves coinciding with the recent formation of Sierra Tucson Group, which is comprised of Sierra Tucson and the newly acquired Sunrise Ranch in Riverside, California, and Sierra by the Sea in Newport Beach, California.

Sierra Tucson CEO Jaime Vinck has been elevated to chief executive of Sierra Tucson Group. Vinck has been with the company since 2014, serving in multiple leadership positions, including chief operations officer and chief clinical officer. She recently oversaw the expansion of the Copper Sky campus and also was invited to speak before the House of Commons in London.

Meanwhile, Sierra Tucson COO Valerie Kading, DNP, MBA, MSN, PMHNP-BC, has been appointed CEO of the two California facilities. Before becoming COO, Kading served as chief medical operations officer and interim chief medical officer. As COO, Kading led the facility-wide implementation of an electronic health records system. Earlier this year, she was presented with the 2019 State Award for Excellence from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in large part for founding the Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse – Nurse Practitioner Society.
