Burning Tree names new director of alumni services

Burning Tree has announced that Dirk Lemasters has been promoted to Director of Alumni Services. He joined the organization in 2009, as the Operations Manager at Burning Tree in Kaufman, Tex., and in 2011 became a member of their marketing team, serving as Business Development Representative until recently starting his new position in Alumni Services.

Lemasters states," I am looking forward to the opportunity to establish a solid, active alumni program."

In addition to his experience with Burning Tree, he brings a background of management and relationship building expertise to the new position. After working as a Training Manager for Multi-Dimensional International for eight years, during which he oversaw sales-driven training programs and supervised teams of consultants for companies such as AT&T and MetLife, he attended The University of Texas at Dallas, graduating magna cum laude with a BA focused on business administration.

Lemasters has high expectations for an expanded alumni program. He said, "We have a valuable asset in our alums, and we respect them as an integral part of Burning Tree. It is my goal to make each one feel welcome to participate and, hopefully, to see that they are an important part of our program."
