CoCENTRIX Coordinated Care Platform receives certification as Complete EHR
CoCENTRIX, provider of coordinated care technology solutions to State Health and Human Services and community providers, has announced that the CoCENTRIX Coordinated Care platform (CoCENTRIXccp) has been tested and certified as a Complete EHR under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. The CoCENTRIXccp has been certified to be compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
“With the CoCENTRIX Coordinated Care Platform receiving the certification, we can provide our customers an additional avenue to attest to Meaningful Use regulations and receive funding,” said Leigh Orlov, President of CoCENTRIX. “Now, in addition to our CCHIT and ONC-ACB product Pro-FilerTM which is fully certified for Eligible Provider and Hospitals, we can extend the same opportunities to our customers leveraging our new Coordinated Care Platform (CoCENTRIXccp) as well.”
Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus funding upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.
The CoCENTRIXccp v. 2.0, meets the requirements for the most current certification criteria adopted by the Secretary at 45 CFR 170 subpart C. The CoCENTRIXccp is an open platform that coordinates care and services across state agencies and community providers to improve health outcomes of consumers. The platform includes a behavioral health-specific Electronic Health Record (EHR), Coordinated Case Management (CCM), Managed Care Solutions (MCS), and interactive, mobile consumer applications that further streamline services across the entire continuum of care.
