Jaywalker Lodge chief recovery officer promoted to CEO
Dirk Eldredge, who last December joined Colorado-based Jaywalker Lodge as chief recovery officer, has been promoted to oversee all aspects of the young men's extended-care center's daily operations as CEO, the organization announced Sept. 14.
Jaywalker Lodge founder and president Bob Ferguson said in a news release that Eldredge's new role reflects the energy behind a growth phase that the organization is referring to as “Jaywalker 2.0” and that coincides with the facility's 10th anniversary. Among the anticipated initiatives in this development phase are a transition into accepting insurance payment; an increased clinical emphasis on men's trauma at all levels of care, including post-treatment recovery support; and company-funded efforts to support staff members' own personal growth and self-care.
Ferguson's role at Jaywalker going forward will focus on evaluating growth opportunities and supporting new brand initiatives.
Eldredge is an interventionist who earlier this decade served as a life coach and mentor for members of the Seattle Seahawks football team. “It's going to be exciting to watch Jaywalker 2.0 emerge behind his steady leadership and the love he has for our community,” Ferguson said of Eldredge.
