Beacon Point Recovery Center opens in Philadelphia area

Beacon Point Recovery Center has opened a new addiction treatment center in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia. The facility will offer detoxification and residential care for the treatment of substance use disorder. The treatment center, which occupies the former Northeastern Hospital, has a 120-bed capacity—30 beds for detoxification and 90 for residential treatment, with a typical stay of 28 days.

In a news release announcing the opening, Beacon Point said it “will work with commercial, public and third-party behavioral healthcare contractors and managers to provide access” to treatment.
