NUWAY Hires Public Policy Director
NUWAY, a Minneapolis-based not-for-profit organization that serves individuals recovering from co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, announced the hiring of Amy Dellwo as its director of public policy.
Dellwo brings 15 years of experience working on public policy with state agencies, elected officials, providers and the community. Most recently, she served as chief of staff in the Minnesota Department of Human Services. She also served seven years as DHS government relations director.
“[Dellwo’s] depth and breadth of public policy experience will be an invaluable asset to NUWAY’s mission to provide extended care treatment to individuals in supportive environments,” NUWAY chief community relations officer Monique Bourgeois said in a news release.
