Qualifacts reports over $2M in meaningful use payments for CareLogic users

Qualifacts Systems Inc., announced to more than 250 attendees at its annual users’ conference that users of the company’s CareLogic Enterprise EHR have already received over $2.3 million in Meaningful Use incentive payments and are eligible for more than $7 million. This represents the largest amount of Meaningful Use incentive checks cashed to date for behavioral health provider organizations.

“It’s exciting to be able to share this news with our customers while they are in Nashville for our annual users’ conference,” says David Klements, president and CEO of Qualifacts. “We are committed to ensuring every CareLogic customer is successful with our product, and our Meaningful Use program is yet another example of that commitment in action.”

With the help of Qualifacts’ Meaningful Use Program Manager Mary Givens, 111 CareLogic Enterprise EHR users across seven states have received first-year incentives under the Medicaid Meaningful Use program.

“The tenets of the Meaningful Use program are sound and so consistent with the mission of our customers that Qualifacts is grateful to play even a small part in bringing the values of Meaningful Use – increased quality, enhanced safety and greater involvement of the people served – to our providers and their clients,” says Givens.

Because of Qualifacts’ software-as-a-service model, as soon as CareLogic Enterprise achieved complete certification in March 2011, every live customer had immediate access to a complete, certified EHR.

In addition to Meaningful Use, customers at the users’ conference will be learning about CareLogic functionality, the future of healthcare reform and the importance of technology from the likes of National Council president Linda Rosenberg and former governor of Tennessee Phil Bredesen.
