American Treatment Network Secures Funding for Expansion
American Treatment Network, a Havertown, Pennsylvania-based substance use disorder treatment provider, has raised $5.3 million to fund an expansion that will go toward the establishment of a network of 10 outpatient centers, according to a report by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The company’s Series A funding round was guided by Independence Alternative Investments, an investment firm that specializes in real estate, private equity, venture capital and debt.
American Treatment Network opened its first facility in Havertown in January, and the clinic has since treated more than 200 patients. The company, which is led by CEO Matthew Sullivan, has 10 employees and tells the Philadelphia Business Journal that it expects to grow its staff to 39 by the end of 2021.
“We started the company about 2 years ago shortly before the start of the pandemic, so our timing was not the best, but the pandemic has heightened the need for our services,” Sullivan told the publication.
American Treatment Network offers outpatient medication-assisted treatment programs for opioid and alcohol addiction, as well as mental health services and telehealth-based programs. The company accepts Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans, as well as self-pay patients.
