Business Briefs: Ellie Mental Health, Indiana Center for Recovery, Aware Recovery Care
Ellie Mental Health, an outpatient mental health clinic operator and franchisor, announced this week that it has received a strategic investment from Princeton Equity Group, a franchise and multiunit private equity firm. Ellie said in a news release that the funding will support growth across the US in both corporate and franchised clinics.
With a network of 20 clinics and 215 clinicians, Ellie serves approximately 20,000 patients per year. The organization also has more than 250 franchise locations in development across 26 states. CEO Erin Pash and Chief Clinical Officer Kyle Keller, who co-founded Ellie in 2015, will continue to lead the company.
Indiana Center for Recovery Plans Expansion
Indiana Center for Recovery has announced plans to add locations throughout the state. The new facilities will offer outpatient and inpatient treatment services, as well as community outreach. Indiana Center for Recovery locations are staffed by peer recovery coaches, behavioral and mental health technicians, and licensed social workers.
The company said in a news release that specific, individual locations will be announced in the coming weeks after being finalized.
Aware Recovery Care Appoints Chief Operating Officer
In-home substance use disorder treatment provider Aware Recovery Care has appointed Erin Scraper as its new chief operating officer. Scraper will work with Aware President Andrea Auxier, PhD, in overseeing daily operations while supporting the Connecticut-based company’s recently appointed CEO, Dr Brian Holzer.
Scraper joined Aware as chief strategy officer in February 2021 and has more than 18 years in various executive leadership positions in healthcare operations, quality, and strategy. She has spent the past 7 years in behavioral healthcare.
