Havencrest Forms Outpatient Mental Health Platform
Havencrest Capital Management, a Dallas, Texas-based healthcare private equity firm, announced recently that it has formed an outpatient mental health platform, Deep Eddy Psychotherapy Management. The platform was started in April 2022 and has since expanded with Havencrest’s acquisitions of Dallas Counseling and Treatment Center Management (DCTC) in April 2023.
Deep Eddy and DCTC combined will serve more than 6000 patients at 13 locations across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, with both in-person and telehealth-based treatment options.
Charlie Health Extends Virtual IOP to Maryland, Wisconsin
Charlie Health, a provider of virtual high-acuity mental healthcare treatment services for teens and young adults, announced that it has expanded into Maryland and Wisconsin. The company’s virtual intensive outpatient program is now available in 25 states, according to a news release.
Founded in 2020, Charlie Health offers a level of care between traditional weekly therapy and inpatient treatment. Clients have access to facilitated peer groups, individual therapy, and family therapy virtually through most commercial insurance and Medicaid plans.
Pinnacle Treatment Centers Opens Virginia Program
Pinnacle Treatment Centers, a provider of substance use disorder treatment services, has opened a new location in Front Royal, Virginia. The program will offer medication-assisted treatment coupled with therapies and services, including individual and group counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, and family therapy sessions.
With the addition of the Front Royal facility, Pinnacle now operates SUD treatment centers in 9 states.
Summit BHC Opens Residential Program in Iowa
Summit BHC, a provider of behavioral health and addiction treatment services, announced recently that it has opened Ivory Plains Recovery Center, a new residential facility in Adair, Iowa.
Ivory Plains, the company’s third facility in the state, has a 50-bed capacity and will offer treatment services for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Treatment options include medical detoxification, residential care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
With the launch of Ivory Plains, Summit BHC’s network now includes 34 freestanding facilities operating in 19 states.
