IMG Health Clinic Expanding Services to Include Mental Healthcare
IMG Health Clinic, a provider of testing, treatment, and management of HIV, Hepatitis C, and other sexually transmitted diseases, announced that it is expanding its services to include mental healthcare.
The company’s mental health treatment initiatives will be focused on the needs of individuals in “vulnerable and marginalized communities,” IMG said in a news release. IMG Health plans to offer: individual counseling, psychotherapy, medication management, case management, and life management services.
IMG Health Clinic is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and serves patients from across the state.
Voyages Behavioral Health Building Facility in Texas
Voyages Behavioral Health has announced plans to build a behavioral health hospital in Conroe, Texas. Voyages Behavioral Health of Conroe will be the company’s second program in Texas, and it will provide specialty psychiatric care in the greater Houston area.
The Conroe facility is expected to open in the spring of 2023.
Voyages is an affiliate of PAM Health, a provider of specialty healthcare services with 70 long-term acute care hospitals and physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals, as well as wound clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states.
PAM Health Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer Kristen Smith said in a news release that the development of Voyages reflects “the importance of an integrated care model for individuals in need of behavioral health services,” and that the opening in Conroe “will address these patients’ comprehensive needs all at once” in a model that reduces cost of care.
Children’s Minnesota Opens Second Mental Health PHP Program
Children’s Minnesota has opened a mental health partial hospitalization (PHP) program for children and teenagers at its Children’s Minnesota Mental Health Specialty Clinic in Roseville, Minnesota. It is the organization’s second such PHP program.
Children’s Minnesota projects that its new Roseville program will provide care for about 350 children between the ages of 6 and 18 per year. The program is housed in a pre-existing 8000-square-foot space. The launch of the program follows the opening of Children’s Minnesota’s first inpatient mental health unit at its hospital in St. Paul 2 months ago.
Monte Nido & Affiliates Launches Florida Program, Announces Plans for New York
Monte Nido & Affiliates has announced the opening of Clementine Palmetto Bay, a residential eating disorder program in Palmetto Bay, Florida. The center will treat adolescent girls who have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and/or exercise addiction.
The Palmetto Bay program is the fourth location overall for Monte Nido in Florida and the second to operate under the Clementine brand, joining nearby Clementine Pinecrest in Miami. With its launch in Palmetto Bay, the Monte Nido portfolio now includes 50 programs operating in 15 states.
The company also announced it will soon open a residential eating disorder program in Rockland County, New York. Monte Nido Rockland will treat adults of all genders with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and/or exercise addiction.
The Rockland program will be Monte Nido’s sixth in New York, and will complement existing Monte Nideo residential treatment programs—Monte Nido Glen Cov and Monte Nido Western New York, which serve adults of all genders, and Monte Nido River Towns, which treats adult females.
