Business Briefs: Landmark, Discovery Announce Executive Hires

Landmark Recovery, a Franklin, Tennessee-based, multi-state addiction treatment provider, announced this week that it has appointed Jason Kirby, DO, MBA, as its new chief medical officer. Dr Kirby will oversee the medical team, medical strategy, and patient care standards across the organization.

Kirby comes to Landmark having served as medical director of addiction and recovery services at St. Peter’s Health Partners in Albany, New York, as chief of behavioral health for St. Peter’s Hospital. Previously, he was the medical director for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Medical Management and Policy Division.

Landmark Recovery serves patients in Kentucky, Indiana, Oklahoma and Nevada. Its sister organization, Praxis by Landmark Recovery, serves the Medicaid population.

Discovery Behavioral Health Names CEO for Seattle Program

Discovery Behavioral Health, which operates a network of mental health, substance use and eating disorder treatment centers, has appointed Michael Uradnik as CEO of its Associated Behavioral Health Care (ABHC) program in Seattle.

ABHC provides medical, mental health, and substance use/chemical dependency outpatient behavioral health services in the Puget Sound region.

For more than 20 years, Uradnik has served in several executive positions in the Seattle metro area. Most recently, he was CEO of Cascade Behavioral Health from 2014-2020, and he previously served as chief operating officer for Fairfax Behavioral Health.
