Mantra Health Announces CEO Transition, Other Executive Changes
Mantra Health, a digital mental health provider for higher education, announced a shakeup in its leadership structure, including the appointment of a new CEO.
Co-founder Matt Kennedy, who has been serving as chief operating officer, is being elevated to CEO, while fellow co-founder Ed Gaussen will transition from CEO to the newly created role of president. In his new position, Gaussen will focus on building industry relationships and collaborating with partners, investors, and other stakeholders. Kennedy will lead the organization’s long-term strategy and all organizational functions.
In addition to the CEO transition, Mantra Health announced the following changes:
- Vice President of Clinical Content and Affairs Carla Chugani, PhD, LPC, will transition to VP of clinical programs.
- Nathaan Demers, PsyD, has joined the company as director of strategic partnerships.
- Alicia Eggen, LMFT, recently joined Mantra as VP of care operations.
Mantra Health’s executive restructuring comes after the company’s recent announcement of a Series A extension funding, as well as a new partnership with Togetherall, a peer-to-peer community-based provider.
BlueSprig Unveils App for Parents of Children With Autism
Autism therapy provider BlueSprig Pediatrics on Wednesday announced the launch of the Attend Behavior app for families served at its more than 140 locations. The app provides caregivers of children with autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other behavioral conditions with individualized behavioral strategies and resources to complement existing therapy.
It includes an assessment function, personalized plan, and techniques to help shape behaviors of importance to the child and their family. Parents have the option of receiving real-time guidance. The app also includes 12 instructional courses for parents. Learning content in the app is based on the RUBI Parent Training Program, a parenting program designed to improve outcomes for children with autism spectrum disorder.
Opus EHR and Saisystems Health Announce Partnership
Opus EHR announced on Wednesday that it is partnering with Saisystems Health, an outpatient billing software company, to offer real-time analytics and reporting for behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment organizations.
The system will allow providers to monitor their insurance mix by filtering transactions and claims by source, forecasting, and strategizing operations.
Saisystems Health has provided billing services to post-acute long-term care providers for more than 30 years. Its partnership with Opus EHR marks its entry into behavioral healthcare. Specializing in behavioral health, addiction, and mental health providers, Opus EHR helps both inpatient and outpatient providers optimize their clinical and operational continuum of care, including intake, admissions, documentation, billing, revenue cycle, clinical, and medical management processes.
