Monte Nido Opening 50th Location in Early 2023
Monte Nido & Affiliates has announced plans to open a new residential eating disorder treatment program in Palmetto Bay, Florida. The facility, which will operate under Monte Nido’s Clementine brand, will be the 50th program overall in the Monte Nido portfolio and is slated to open in early 2023. It will provide care for adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and/or exercise addiction.
Clementine Palmetto Bay will be Monte Nido’s fourth program in Florida, and it will complement the nearby Clementine Pinecrest in Miami.
Kyros Adds MAT to Portfolio of Services
Kyros, a digital platform for recovery services, recently announced it is adding medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) to its portfolio of services.
The Kyros recovery management tech platform integrates clients’ providers, counselors, support organizations, and now MAT services into personalized treatment plans. Kyros, launched in 2021, recently added 2 states to its geographic footprint and said in a news release it plans to operate in 10 states by the end of 2023.
Autism Impact Fund and Multiple Announce Strategic Partnership
Autism Impact Fund (AIF) and Multiple, a not-for-profit platform for the autism community, have announced a strategic partnership. Through the collaboration, the 2 organizations will work together as a cross-organizational not-for-profit/venture capital investment selection team designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) therapy field, identify market needs and target areas for future investment, and participate on each other’s advisor boards.
Founded in 2021, AIF has invested in 10 portfolio companies, including diagnostics, therapeutics, and living with ASD into adulthood. Multiple, meanwhile, was launched in January 2022 and has provided acceleration support to 40 early-stage startups.
SonderMind Acquires Total Brain
SonderMind, a tech-based mental healthcare provider organization, announced that it has acquired Total Brain, an applied, integrative neuroscience company that has developed a mental health monitoring and support platform that is powered by a large-scale standardized brain database.
The organization said in a news release announcing the deal that its acquisition of Total Brain will help SonderMind to reach more individuals seeking mental healthcare, help therapists improve outcomes through measurement-based care techniques with expanded client information, serve enterprise customers with population mental health tools and reporting, and deliver comprehensive mental and behavioral health solutions to health plan and health system partners.
SonderMind operates mental health treatment programs in 15 states and Washington, DC. Total Brain’s software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based platform combines monitoring capabilities with self-care support tools, serving population health, provider, and precision medicine needs with data, precision medicine diagnostics, and health and productivity outcomes.
